How do I filter results on the Mechanic Job Posting Competition page?
Use the funnel icon at the top right corner of the page.
The pages showing data for Mechanics is built on a different platform from the Driver pages, so the navigation is different. When you navigate to the 'View Job Competition' > 'Mechanic Positions' or 'Mechanic Job Posting Trends' pages, click the funnel icon at the top right of the page.

That opens up a filter section along the top of the screen. Click on any of the filters present to open a drop down where you can limit the results.
The "Choose Date" section in the right side of the filter section is especially important on the 'Mechanic Job Posting Trends' page, as you can adjust your date range and how you want to aggregate the data (e.g. by month, quarter, or year).
Additionally, you can click the "+" icon and add a new filter from any of the columns in the dataset.
You can also use any of the graphs on these pages to filter results.
- For example, click on a company in the 'Unique Postings by Company' graph, and it will show job posting information for that company in all other graphs. Or click the "24 months" bar in the 'Required Months of Experience' graph to see who requires 2 years of experience and if those wages are higher than the overall median wage.
- To clear a filter activated by a graph, click the "clear filter" icon that appears at the top of the graph.
