Where do I find a location's Recruiting Difficulty Score?

The Recruiting Difficulty Score (RDS) is a proprietary metric used in Stratas to estimate how difficult it is to hire drivers in a given area. It analyzes lead and hire metrics, job posting competition, and driver interest to produce a score on a 1–10 scale, where 1 is the least difficult and 10 is the most difficult.

To find a location's RDS, navigate to the "Market Overview" page under the Investigate Markets header in the Market Intelligence section of Stratas.

From there, search for your desired location, and its RDS will be shown at the top of the page.

A higher RDS indicates a more competitive recruiting market. Use this score to prioritize recruiting efforts, adjust job posting budgets, or set expectations for time-to-hire in that location.

RDS scores are provided for states, metropolitan statistical areas, and counties.
